Eyo Ekpo
Co-Founder
Eyo is a Co-Founder and the strategic operations principal of BlockStone Captial, LLC (“BSC”). He focuses his time on monitoring prospective early stage blockchain prospects and partnering with influencial leaders in the developing space. Prior to founding BSC, Eyo also co-founded a handful of other entrepreneurial endeavors.
As a graduate from the University of Saint Thomas (St. Paul, MN), Eyo double majored in Entrepreneurship and Finance. During this time, one of his endeavors, which he operated for 3 years, won 1st prize in his school’s concept competition. Eyo now mentors and supports other young business owners. His passion for early stage businesses and finance have continued to propel him throughout his career and were pivotal in drawing his interests into cryptocurrency and blockchain.
Although having an interest in Bitcoin since 2014, it was not until late 2016, when Eyo discovered Ethereum. Shortly after this discovery, the ICO craze and exponential growth in “alt coins” drove crypto speculation rampant. As a proponent of the space, Eyo believes the technology is here to stay and combined with other emerging technologies (artificial intelligence, smart contracts, robotics, augmented/virtual reality, and etc.) will impact society in ways more extraordinary than the evolution of the smartphone.
Jordan Hagel
Co-Founder
Jordan is the President and Co-Founder of BlockStone Capital focusing mainly on client on-boarding, customer relations and strategy; amongst other day-to-day operations. Along with BlockStone, Jordan is an enterprise account executive in the Financial Services and Enterprise Technology space.
His first investment and interest in blockchain came mid-2017, and it has been a passion ever since. By focusing on educating others and bringing trust and transparency to an unfamiliar space, Jordan believes blockchain and crypto currencies can change the way we think about money and business for years to come.
